About us

From a 19th-century mill to the sustainable packaging of the future
In the heart of Catalonia, near the Llobregat River, our plant was originally built as a mill in 1814. During the 19th and 20th centuries, the site evolved into a textile center, becoming an industrial landmark until 1966.
Since 1972, the facilities have hosted the production of cellulose packaging, marking the beginning of Decapulp’s modern history.

Innovation and sustainability as our guiding thread
Today, Decapulp transforms paper and cellulose into strong, functional, and fully recyclable packaging, combining cutting-edge technology with environmental responsibility.
We offer both standard and customized solutions to clients across Europe, anticipating the needs of a market increasingly focused on sustainability.
